Lost Property is a series of miscellaneous lectures, featuring rabbit holes and obsessions from your favourite thinkers, artists, lovers and friends.

We host nights in London on an (almost) monthly basis, and have heard lectures on bullfighting, clowns, Delueze, mudlarking, time-travelling, love scams, suburban architecture, raves, cryogenics, high heels, Wikipedia, phenomenology, frogs and much more.

Lost Property was founded in 2025 by writer Letty Cole. It was borne partly from sheer nosiness, a desire to peek inside the most treasured parts of other people’s minds. But also from a need to reject some of the worst parts of modern culture: disconnection, optimisation and division.

Instead, Lost Property is designed to mirror all of the chaos and magic of the physical world, and help us to re-engage with the IRL and eachother.

If you’d like to chat about anything at all, please email us at hello@lostproperty.world, or contact Letty.

If you’d like to pitch a lecture, please email us at hello@lostproperty.world with the subject PITCH followed by the title of your lecture idea.

Pitching guidelines:

Every lecture is 10 minutes long. Any subject welcome. We particularly encourage amateur lectures on a subject you are passionate about. It can be serious or silly, high or low. You can find all previous lecture titles on the Instagram. Final lecture must be accompanied by 1x Google Slide (not needed for pitch). Absolutely no self-promotion or career talk. No reading from a script.
